Thousands of Palestinians marched Sunday afternoon in the funeral of Luay Kuahil and Ameer al-Nimra who were killed in an Israeli airstrike on al-Katiba park in Gaza city.
The funeral procession set off from a Gaza hospital to the family houses of the two martyrs in al-Sabra neighborhood in central Gaza.
The funeral was attended by the head of Hamas’s Political Bureau Ismail Haneyya the first deputy speaker of the Palestinian Legislative Council Ahmad Bahar and a number of Palestinian officials.
Ahmad Bahar said that Israel’s killing of innocent children indicates that it has failed to stop Gaza’s March of Return.
He affirmed that the protests will continue until the siege is broken and the right of return is restored and praised the Palestinian resistance groups for their efforts to protect the Palestinian people and retaliate for the murder of the two children.
