Hadmi: Our people will foil the flag march

Saturday 28-May-2022

The head of the Jerusalem Committee against Judaization Nasser Al-Hadmi affirmed that the steadfastness of the Palestinian people and the threats of the resistance carry a clear and strong message that the confrontation with the occupation will be strong and the flag march will not pass.

Hadmi explained that the march of flags which the Israeli occupation authority (IOA) insists on carrying out in order to prove its sovereignty and control over the Holy City comes after three times it attempted this year to organize it but which failed either by changing its course postponing it or reducing the number of participants. Such failure indicates that the IOA had lost its control over the city he added.

“The fragile weak IOA government is determined to implement this march to prove its ability to carry out extremist activities that affect the sanctities of our people and their national icons in Jerusalem” Hadmi indicated.

He expected that the confrontations will occur in Jerusalem or the West Bank but the IOA will avoid a confrontation with the resistance and will retreat in the end.

Meanwhile Palestinians called for wide participation at the dawn prayer at the Al-Aqsa Mosque on Sunday in addition to performing the Duha prayer to thwart the settlers’ plans to organize the march of flags.

The alleged temple groups called for a mass storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque to celebrate the anniversary of the occupation of East Jerusalem or what they call the “Unification of Jerusalem Day” raising the Israeli flags in its courtyards and performing their Talmudic rituals.
