Hamas on Monday said that the actions of the Palestinian Authority president Mahmoud Abbas are paving the way for the US administration to liquidate the Palestinian cause.
Hamas spokesman Hazem Qasem stressed that his movement and other Palestinian factions will never allow projects targeting the Palestinian cause to pass.
The Palestinian Authority and Fatah movement have recently launched an intensive media campaign attacking Palestinian resistance factions in Gaza for their ongoing efforts to reach a long-term ceasefire with Israel.
Fatah at the same time is working to thwart any effort that would advance the Palestinian reconciliation process.
