The Hamas Movement said that arrangements are underway to plan visits to more countries by head of its political bureau Ismail Haneyya as part of his foreign itinerary.
Sami Abu Zuhri member of Hamas’s Arab and Islamic relations office described Haneyya’s recent visit to Moscow as a quantum leap in the bilateral relations with Russia and an important asset to the Movement’s foreign relations in general as well as to the Palestinian diplomacy.
“There is a package of visits — some of them have been arranged and others are still underway — but we do not want to disclose the names of those countries and we will announce each visit when it starts because there are parties that have expressed their discontent over the tour and are trying to sabotage it unfortunately” Abu Zuhri told the Palestinian Information Center (PIC).
