Hamas Movement refused the United States Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley’s remarks in which she attacked Hamas and asked the UN Security Council to label it as a terror group.
The Hamas spokesman Abdullatif Qanoa said Haley’s remarks go in line with the incitement campaign waged against Hamas in consistence with the Israeli positions towards the Movement.
In a statement on Wednesday Qanoa said “Asking for designating Hamas a terrorist group is a racist behavior that is biased to Israel and constitutes a denial to the Palestinian right to resistance”.
Hamas Movement underlined that all attempts to label it a terror organization will fail because it will remain a national liberation movement which resists the Israeli occupation and defends the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people.
