Hamas and Islamic Jihad Movements on Friday evening hailed the anti-occupation car-ramming attack carried out at the entrance to Mevo Dotan settlement to the south of Jenin city in the northern West Bank. An Israeli officer and a soldier were killed whereas three others were seriously injured.
The Hamas’s spokesman Hazem Qasem said in a press statement that the anti-occupation attack proves the continuation of resistance and al-Quds Intifada (uprising).
Islamic Jihad Movement praised the escalation of protests against the Israeli occupation and said that anti-occupation attacks are a legitimate right for the Palestinian people who are defending themselves their land and their holy places.
