The Hamas Movement has described the Israeli occupation forces’ use of a collaborator to assassinate a senior commander of the Arin al-Osoud (Lions’ Den) armed group in Nablus on Sunday as a “reflection of its failure to reach and confront the Palestinian resistance.”
“The cowardly assassination of martyr Tamer al-Kilani cannot stop the rise of the Palestinian resistance in the occupied West Bank” Hamas spokesman Abdul-Latif al-Qanu said in a press release on Monday.
Spokesman Qanu warned that Arin al-Osoud and the resistance in the West Bank would not remain silent on the assassination of Kilani and would take revenge for his death.
“Assassinations cannot achieve for the occupation what it has failed to achieve through its siege on Nablus and Shuafat in Jerusalem its pursuit of resistance fighters and its arrest campaigns” the spokesman said.
