The Hamas Movement condemned the Israeli Knesset’s decision to extend the state of emergency in the occupied West Bank.
“This decision is null and void and won’t grant Israel any legitimacy or security” the Movement confirmed in a press statement on Monday.
The Movement affirmed that such a decision reflects the Israeli racist policies that violate the Palestinians’ rights and the international laws and conventions.
For over 50 years the Knesset has been regularly voting for extending the so-called emergency law yet this year it faces difficulties due to the lack of majority votes for the fragile coalition government.
