Hamas movement on Tuesday said that the Palestinian Authority (PA) government’s conditions to allow the integration of Gaza employees into its ministries are “groundless and cannot fool anyone”.
Hamas’s spokesman Abdullatif al-Qanou’ said in a statement that the PA government’s conditions are full of contradictions.
Al-Qanou’ said that all ministries and crossings in Gaza were handed over to the PA government and there is nothing keeping it from assuming its responsibilities and lifting the sanctions on the Palestinian people there.
The PA government in a statement following its weekly meeting in Ramallah on Tuesday asked Hamas o fully empower it in the Gaza Strip and allow the return of all old employees to their former workplaces as a condition to integrate 20000 Gaza employees into its ministries.
