The Hamas Movement has blessed the shooting operation near Shuafat refugee camp in Occupied Jerusalem on Saturday evening describing it as a “reaction to the Israeli occupation state’s crimes against the Palestinian people and its desecration of the Aqsa Mosque.”
In a statement on Saturday Hamas said that Israel’s violations at the Aqsa Mosque and its recent crimes against Palestinian citizens in Jenin Ramallah and Qalqilya would not remain without a response.
The Movement stressed that the bullets fired by Palestinian resistance fighters in the West Bank and Jerusalem know their way towards Israeli targets.
For its part the Islamic Jihad Movement said that the Shuafat checkpoint operation reflected that the resistance operations in the occupied territories escalated in an organized and sophisticated manner.
“Such operations indicate that the Palestinian resistance and its men have advanced and their ability to inflict pain on the enemy is on the rise day by day” Islamic Jihad spokesman Tareq Izzuddin said in press remarks.
He described the Shuafat operation as a “response to the ongoing Israeli crimes against the Palestinians in the West Bank” the latest of which was the killing of two teenagers in Jenin.
