The Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas said on Monday that strengthening the resistance is the only way to erase the effects of the 1967 Naksa.
In a statement marking the 50th anniversary of the 1967 defeat (Naksa) Hamas added that it does not see the Naksa as an end but rather as an important turning point in the lives of the Palestinian people that must be overcome.
Hamas affirmed that establishing a Palestinian consensus on the national constants and the resistance is the first step of achieving unity in the Arab and Muslim nation and starting a real mobilization of potentials against any aggression.
It also stressed the need to lift the siege and open the crossings for the Palestinian people in Gaza.
The Movement expressed regret over the divisions plaguing the Arab and Muslim nation these days which come at the expense of the Palestinian cause and the resistance.
