The Hamas Movement has said that the commando operation in occupied Jerusalem on Friday confirmed that the Palestinian Authority’s attempt to make the relationship with the Israeli occupation state normal would never be successful.
In a press release on Friday Hamas spokesman Hazem Qasem stated that the Palestinian young people would continue to see the occupation as their sole enemy and the resistance as the only solution to the conflict with it.
“The commando operation in Jerusalem is renewed proof that the Palestinian people are continuing their revolution against the usurping occupation and that their intifada (uprising) is ongoing until they get full freedom” Qasem said.
He added that the cold-blooded killing of three young men in Jerusalem during the operation reflected that the occupation is the true face of terrorism and extremism stressing that the Palestinian people have the right to defend themselves and their holy sites.
He also urged the Palestinian people in the occupied territories to intensify their presence at the Aqsa Mosque and escalate their intifada against the occupation.
