Hamas Movement on Thursday called on the Palestinian Authority (PA) President Mahmoud Abbas to stop counting on the US with regards to the peace process and asked him to take the side of the Palestinian choice of resistance.
The Hamas Leader Usama Hamdan told Quds Press that the positions of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) that were announced a few days ago were below the required level.
Hamdan affirmed that his Movement sought to hold a PLO consultation council in order to determine the resolutions of the PLO meetings such as halting security coordination announcing the failure of settlement and declaring the return to resistance but that did not happen he said.
Hamdan also called on Fatah Movement to abide by the reconciliation agreements that were signed in Cairo. He held Abbas and the consensus government responsible for the suspension of the reconciliation efforts.
