The Hamas Movement called on the Palestinian people and resistance factions to challenge the Israeli decision to build more than 4000 settlement units in occupied Jerusalem and West Bank.
“Approving the building of thousands of new settlement units in occupied West Bank by the so-called Higher Planning Committee constitutes a new grave violation that reflects Israel’s colonialist and racist policies” Hamas spokesman Fawzi Barhoum said on Sunday.
Spokesman Barhoum confirmed that the world is standing silent before Israel’s crimes which encourages it to further violate the international laws and covenants.
Barhoum called for boycotting Israel ending normalization with it and exposing its crimes against the Palestinian people in addition to supporting the Palestinian people until the liberation of their lands.
According to Hebrew media the Higher Planning Committee of the Israeli Civil Administration approved last Thursday the building of 4000 new settlement units.
The Israeli settlement activity across the West Bank and Jerusalem is deemed illegal under international law.
