The Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas condemned the bomb explosion in the Coptic cathedral complex in the Egyptian capital Cairo on Sunday morning.
The Movement said in a press release on Sunday evening that the explosion that left dozens of casualties was “a criminal act”.
It said that such acts that target civilians aim at mixing up cards in the region and indulging it in a wave of charges and counter charges which only benefits the enemies of the Arabs and Muslims.
Hamas extended its condolences to the Egyptian people praying that Allah would preserve Egypt and its people.
The explosion killed 26 people and injured many others.
