Member of Hamas’s political bureau Ezzat al-Resheq strongly condemned on Monday the ISIS attack on Palestinian Shuhada Cemetery in Yarmouk refugee camp in Syria.
“We strongly condemn the ISIS crime against Shuhada Cemetery in Yarmouk refugee camp and its attack on the graves of the two Palestinian prominent leaders Khalil al-Wazir and Saad al-Sayel” Resheq in his official twitter account.
For its part al-Sayel’s family strongly denounced the attack on Shuhada Cemetery which includes the graves of a number of Palestinian martyrs.
The family called on the Palestinian Authority to work on transferring the Palestinian martyrs’ remains from the Yarmouk refugee camp to be buried in Palestine.
Earlier on Sunday elements affiliated with ISIS leveled Shuhada Cemetery in Yarmouk refugee camp in Damascus and spoiled a number of graves.
