The Hamas Movement has denounced the pledge by the Israeli premier-designate Benjamin Netanyahu to legalize settlements and settlement outposts labeling the Israeli settlement expansion policy in the occupied Palestinian territories as illegal.
In a press statement on Thursday the Movement stressed that Netanyahu’s promise for far-right Knesset member Ben Gvir to legalize West Bank settlements and 65 settlement outposts in addition to establishing bypass roads in the West Bank will not grant the Israeli occupation and Jewish settlers legitimacy or security on Palestinian lands.
The Movement called on the Palestinian people to unite while confronting the Israeli expansionist plans and continue their resistance by all means possible until they foil such plans.
Hamas finally urged the Muslim and Arab nations to support the Palestinians in their struggle against Israeli occupation by boycotting Israel and prosecuting its leaders at international criminal courts.
