Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas condemned on Monday the terrorist attack against Egyptian soldiers in Sinai that led to the death and injury of many soldiers.
The spokesman of Hamas Movement Fawzi Barhoum said in a press statement that the attack aimed at targeting Egypt and its stability. He wished the Egyptian country and people safety and peace.
The Egyptian army had earlier announced that six Egyptian soldiers were murdered on Sunday while confronting a failed terrorist attempt that targeted security points in al-Qawadis area north of Sinai.
