Hamas Movement’s representative in Lebanon Ali Baraka extended condolences to the Turkish Ambassador in Beirut Çağatay Erciyes over the twin deadly terror attacks near a football stadium in Istanbul that martyred at least 38 people and injured 155 others.
Baraka “condemned in the strongest terms the heinous and cowardly terrorist attacks” and pledged solidarity with the Turkish people.
The two parties discussed during the meeting the latest Palestinian developments and the Palestinian refugees’ humanitarian situation in Lebanon.
Baraka called for more support to the Palestinian steadfastness hailing Turkey’s continued support for the Palestinian people and their just cause.
For his part the Turkish ambassador expressed gratitude to Hamas’ delegation stressing his country’s absolute support to the Palestinian people and their right of return.
