Head of Hamas’s political bureau Ismail Haneyya and his accompanying delegation arrived in Turkey on Sunday morning on the second leg of their foreign itinerary which they started recently with a stay for several days in Egypt.
Member of Hamas’s political bureau Husam Badran posted a photo of him with Haneyya and other senior officials from the Movement in Istanbul.
The picture also shows deputy head of the political bureau Saleh al-Aruri senior officials Mousa Abu Marzouk Nizar Awadallah Khalil al-Hayya Maher Salah and others.
“Palestine is bringing us together and our mission and goal are to serve our people and liberate our land. We are treading the path of the martyred leaders and remembering the steadfastness of our prisoners” Badran said commenting on the picture.
Haneyya left Gaza for Cairo on the 2nd of December as part of a foreign tour that will also take Haneyya to Malaysia Russia Qatar Lebanon Mauritania and Kuwait.
The foreign tour is the first by Haneyya since he was elected political chief of the resistance group in 2017.
Haneyya had obtained permission from Egyptian authorities to conduct the tour during his recent visit to Cairo where he conducted talks with Egyptian officials about the bilateral relations and other issues of mutual interest.
