A high-level delegation from the Hamas Movement led by its representative in Lebanon Ahmed Abdul-Hadi on Monday met with Turkish ambassador Hakan Cakil at the embassy headquarters in Beirut.
According to a statement by Hamas senior officials from the Movement attended the meeting with the ambassador who was briefed on the latest development in the Palestinian arena.
Abdul-Hadi highlighted different issues related to the Palestinian cause especially the dangers threatening it.
He also talked about the daily Israeli violations against the Palestinian people their land and holy sites and the recent decision to annex parts of the occupied West Bank to Israel.
The living conditions of the Palestinian refugees in Lebanon and Hamas’s relief efforts to alleviate their suffering were also underlined during the meeting.
For his part the Turkish ambassador reiterated his country’s unwavering support for the Palestinian people and their national cause expressing his solidarity with the Palestinian refugees in Lebanon.
