The Hamas Movement has condemned the political arrests that were carried out last night by the Palestinian Authority (PA) security forces in Ramallah.
In a statement on Tuesday Hamas described the ongoing political arrests in the West Bank as a “crime against national values” and a “practice that only serves the Israeli occupation state.”
“In light of the painful reality that the occupation is trying to impose on our land the Palestinian Authority is obliged to protect our people and fortify them against Israeli crimes instead of weakening them and exposing their backs through persecution restrictions arbitrary arrests and security coordination which only serve the occupation’s interests and do not contribute to the national unity” the Movement said.
