The Hamas Movement has offered its sincerest condolences to Pakistan over the victims of the flash floods that have been hitting the country for over two months killing hundreds of people and displacing many others.
In a statement on Saturday Hamas expressed its solidarity with the Pakistani people in this ordeal and its deep sympathy with the bereaved families and all those affected by the floods.
The Movement asked Allah Almighty to bestow His mercy upon the victims and the wounded and help the missing citizens return safely to their families. It also prayed to Allah to help the Pakistani leadership and its people overcome such difficult times.
The Pakistan government declared on Friday the devastating floods a “national emergency” after nearly 1000 people died and more than 30 million were rendered without shelter as rains continued to lash different areas of the country.
