Member of Hamas’s political bureau Hisham Qasem has applauded Qatar’s spectacular success in organizing the 2022 World Cup opening ceremony saying that Sunday’s event reflected the level of preparations that were made by Doha for the international soccer tournament.
In press remarks on Monday Qasem said that such arrangements for the international soccer event contributes to providing the world with a positive image about Arabs and Muslims and highlighting their cultural and religious heritage.
“Qatar’s impressive organization of the World Cup which appeared in the first hours will serve as a motivation for other Arab and Islamic countries to hold more activities that reflect our Arab and Islamic heritage” he added.
