Hamas Movement hailed the stabbing attack carried out near the Beit Sera military checkpoint southwest of the West Bank city of Ramallah late Thursday.
The Movement also hailed the Palestinian youths who sacrifice their lives in defense of Occupied Jerusalem.
“Our Palestinian people will continue struggling by all possible means” the Movement added saying that the attack came in response to the Israeli plans to storm al-Aqsa Mosque and perform Talmudic rituals at its gates by the end of this month.
Hamas also called on the Palestinian people to continue to confront the Israeli forces and settlers’ terrorism and to protect the al-Aqsa Mosque.
Earlier Thursday eight Jewish settlers were wounded in a stabbing attack near the Beit Sera military checkpoint southwest of the West Bank city of Ramallah. The attacker was killed by an off-duty Israeli police officer.
Palestinian youths have been escalating their resistance activities across the occupied territories in response to the Jewish settlers’ plans to organize mass raids into the al-Aqsa Mosque.
