Hamas Movement expressed in a statement issued Wednesday its deep appreciation to the Palestinian teaching staff for their effective role in the Palestinian struggle against the Israeli occupation.
“We hail the entire teaching staff at home and in the diaspora for their effective role in bringing up generations by boosting their sense of belonging towards their homeland and Ummah and fostering the values of defending their nations and persevering the identity of the Arab world its constants and holy sites” the statement reads.
It further pointed out that the Israeli attempts to target the Palestinian curricula in Occupied Jerusalem will fail to falsify history and change the cultural identity of the occupied city and Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The statement further stressed the urgent need to provide protection and a safe environment for Palestinian teachers.
“We pray for Allah to have His mercy upon the deceased Palestinian teachers and wish the wounded teachers a fast and full recovery and the detained teachers to be released soon” it concluded.
