Member of the Hamas Political Bureau Ezzat al-Resheq on Saturday hailed the former Minister of Prisoners Affairs Wasfi Qabha’s strong positions in defense of Palestinian prisoners’ issue.
Resheq pointed out that Qabha’s voice will always remain in the memory of the Palestinian people for defending the rights of the prisoners.
Top Hamas official Wasfi Qabha passed away one year ago at the age of 62 after suffering from COVID-19 complications.
Qabha is a former minister of prisoners’ affairs in the tenth Palestinian government (Ismail Haneyya’s government).
He was exposed to several Israeli assaults and survived assassination attempts. He was also arrested several times and spent about 14 years in Israeli jails.
