Hamas Movement mourned on Friday evening the death of 63-year-old Ghadeer Masalmeh who was killed in a car-ramming attack carried out by a malicious Jewish settler before fleeing the scene near Sinjil town north of the occupied West Bank city of Ramallah.
An upsurge in Israeli settlers’ crimes against Palestinian citizens of the West Bank has been recently witnessed the latest of which were the attacks on Burqa town in northern Nablus and the car-ramming against Masalmah the Movement pointed out stressing that such acts will not be tolerated by the Palestinian people who reject injustice and will defend the dignity of Palestinian female detainees.
Comprehensive resistance with all of its forms particularly armed struggle is the practical and true response to crimes by the Israeli occupation and its settlers the statement affirmed.
“These rogue groups who have shed Palestinian blood desecrated holy sites attacked Palestinian homes and targeted women on the streets will pay the price for their assaults and will be kicked out of Palestine by the Palestinian resistance” the resistance group warned.
Hamas also saluted Burqa’s residents and all those who confronted the Israeli settlers’ attacks and defended their town.
The Movement concluded by stressing that confronting Israeli colonial settlers and protecting Palestinian citizens from all attacks should be part of a daily resistance program for all Palestinian segments on the ground and across the occupied West Bank.
