The Hamas Movement has mourned three Palestinian young men martyred today and last night in Ramallah and al-Khalil stressing that the Palestinian people will remain adherent to the resistance option until the removal of the Israeli occupation from their land.
In a statement on Tuesday Hamas offered its condolences to the martyrs’ families and friends affirming that the Palestinian martyrs’ “pure blood would not go in vain and would always be fuel igniting the flames of uprising against the Israeli occupation.”
The Movement applauded the young men of al-Khalil and Ramallah for courageously standing up to the occupation forces during their raids in their towns describing them as “heroes”.
“Our people will not stand idly by watching the occupation’s crimes and will not remain silent while the blood of their children is being shed and their cities and holy sites are being attacked especially Jerusalem and the Aqsa Mosque” the Movement said.
Two young brothers called Jawad and Dhafer Rimawi were shot dead on Tuesday morning after Israeli forces stormed Kafr Ein village in the northwest of Ramallah.
Last night 44-year-old Mufeed Akhlil was also killed during clashes between Palestinian youths and Israeli forces in Beit Ummar town north of al-Khalil.
In a related context a general strike was declared on Thursday morning in the province of Ramallah and Bireh in mourning for the Rimawi brothers.
A statement released by the national forces in the province called for escalating all forms of resistance against the occupation and demanded international action to protect the Palestinian people against Israel’s crimes.
