The Hamas leadership on Friday concluded in Cairo the meetings of its new political bureau that were chaired by Ismail Haneyya and attended by senior members.
During the meetings that were held over the past few days the Hamas leaders discussed different issues and developments in the Palestinian arena especially with regard to Occupied Jerusalem the Aqsa Mosque the Palestinian prisoners the blockade on Gaza and the living conditions of citizens at home and abroad.
The attendees also discussed the recent political changes at the regional and international levels and their repercussions for the Palestinian cause.
The leadership highlighted its positions on different issues that concern the Arab and Muslim nations and the centrality of the Palestinian question to them reiterating its keenness on developing the Movement’s mutual relations with different Arab and Islamic countries.
