Hamas Movement extended congratulations to all women around the world in general and Palestinian women in particular on the occasion of the International Women’s Day.
It expressed sincere wishes for further progress and participation in making the world a better place to live in for all humanity.
The Movement said in a press statement on Monday that it always supports the genuine role of women at the national level in the Palestinian struggle for freedom and independence.
It praised the role of the Palestinian women as mother and wife in maintaining social cohesion by protecting the family the basic building block of society and the title of its stability.
Hamas called for strengthening the role of women in all political social and economic levels denouncing any persecution or injustice against women on any basis.
