The Hamas Movement denounced the results of the Israeli investigation on the death of the Palestinian child Rayyan Suleiman labeling them as a failed attempt to evade responsibility for this premeditated murder.
In a press statement on Friday Hamas spokesman Hazem Qassem said that the findings of the investigation conducted by the Israeli occupation forces are categorically rejected adding that such a crime reveals the real face of the Israeli occupation and its “abhorrent and terrorist” practices against the Palestinian people and children.
The Movement called on the United Nations institutions and all human rights and humanitarian institutions to shoulder their responsibility and hold Israel into account and to punish it for its violations and evasion of legal accountability for its crimes against innocent Palestinian children.
Earlier on Thursday the Israeli army said that “a connection between the death of Rayyan Suleiman and the activity of the force has been ruled out.”
On the 29th of September 2022 seven-year-old Rayyan passed away after he suffered a heart attack whilst being chased by IOF soldiers in the West Bank governorate of Bethlehem.
