The Hamas Movement has strongly denounced foreign ministers of a number of Arab countries for their intended meeting with Israeli officials in Occupied Palestine whose “people are being exposed to different forms of persecution terrorism and displacement.”
In a statement on Sunday Hamas reiterated its utter rejection of all forms of normalization with the Israeli occupation state.
“Such meetings only serve the enemy and help in perpetuating its ongoing aggression against our land people and holy sites” the Movement stressed.
It called on the Arab countries that have ties with the occupation state to reconsider the normalization agreements they had signed with it in line with their historical responsibilities towards Jerusalem and Palestine.
The Israeli meeting known as the Negev summit will take place on Sunday and Monday in the presence of four Arab foreign ministers.
The two-day event will be attended by US secretary of state Antony Blinken and his counterparts from the UAE Bahrain Morocco and Egypt.
