The Hamas Movement has warned the Israeli occupation state of persisting in its repressive measures against the Palestinian prisoners in its jails.
“The resistance will keep its promise to extract prisoners’ freedom and our heroic people will not leave them alone in the battle of empty stomachs” member of Hamas’s political bureau Mousa Dudin stated in press remarks on Tuesday.
“Death threatens the life of prisoner Bassam al-Sa’yeh after sickness has spread through his body following years of captivity and medical neglect in Israeli jails. We hold the occupation government fully responsible for his life because his continued detention means condemning him to death inside jails” Dudin added.
The Hamas official affirmed that the lives of eight hunger-striking prisoners became in danger because of their prolonged strikes calling on the Palestinian people to stand by their families.
He urged local human rights groups to urgently move and raise the issue of sick prisoners and administrative detainees in Israeli jails with international organizations.
