Senior Hamas official Osama Hamdan said the Hamas delegation’s recent visit to Tehran was important and would make an additional shift in the brotherly relations with Iran.
“The Hamas delegation’s visit to Iran came as the Palestinian cause is facing major challenges most notably the deal of the century and the US attempt to redraw the regional maps” Hamdan stated in press remarks.
He said that the visit was part of Hamas’s efforts to strengthen and develop its relations with other countries and rally support for the Palestinian cause against the challenges facing it.
He pointed out that his Movement did not only send delegates to Iran but also to Moscow and other countries in the world.
