Head of Hamas’s political bureau Ismail Haneyya has affirmed that his Movement is determined to continue its efforts to achieve the national reconciliation and end the division stressing the need to build bridges of mutual trust.
The Hamas leader made his remarks in a public letter titled: “The Reconciliation is a Determination and a Decision and Includes the West Bank and Gaza Together.”
“We are confident that having the will the decision and the ability to implement [what is agreed upon] will be the master of the situation that controls all promising things our people and nation are anticipating” Haneyya stated.
“Today we feel we are able to make a breakthrough in the file of the reconciliation” he asserted.
“We in the leadership of the Movement have taken our final decision to dissolve the administrative committee and allow the government to come to Gaza and this was based on full awareness and an integrated vision and in the context of a careful reading of what is happening in the Palestinian arena and the region in general” the Hamas leader underlined.
“We want to revive the hope inside all of us build bridges of confidence bridge the gap devote ourselves to the major national issue get ready for the current challenges confront the schemes to liquidate [the Palestinian cause] protect the option of resistance and the constants and restore the prestige of our cause in the Arab Islamic and international arenas” he added.
