Haneyya: Israel’s crime against Abu Hamid will not go unpunished

Tuesday 20-December-2022

Head of Hamas’s political bureau Ismail Haneyya has described the martyrdom of prisoner Nasser Abu Hamid after his long suffering from cancer in Israeli detention as a “new crime against the Palestinian people and the entire humanity.”

In a statement on Tuesday Haneyya affirmed that Israel’s crime against Abu Hamid would never go unpunished.

The Hamas leader expressed his heartfelt condolences over Abu Hamid’s martyrdom to his mother and detained brothers.

He reiterated the Palestinian resistance’s commitment to liberating all the prisoners from Israeli jails and every inch of Palestine.

Cancer-stricken Nasser Abu Hamid 50 was declared dead this morning after battling cancer for long months in Israeli detention.

Last year the prisoner suffered from a serious health problem in his lungs but the Israeli prison service delayed his transfer to the hospital and neglected his suffering for long months before deciding to take him to the hospital where he was diagnosed with cancer.
