Head of Hamas’s political bureau Ismail Haneyya has affirmed that the issue of Jerusalem and the Aqsa Mosque is “the headline of the Palestinian conflict with the Israeli occupation state.”
“Today our struggle against the Zionist enemy enters a new stage which is not the stage of crying pleading counting the wounded and martyrs and highlighting our sufferings” Haneyya said in televised remarks on Sunday.
“Today we are going through the stage of glad tidings ascension and the building of great victories” the Hamas leader added stressing the current rise and growth in the spirit of resistance and revolution among the Palestinian people everywhere reflects this stage.
“This [Palestinian] people live in the heart of the Zionist entity which has practiced all the methods to Israelize them and uproot them from their Arab and Islamic origins; However they are today the guardians of the house alongside their [Muslim and Arab] brothers and folks raising the banner and confirming their readiness to fight decisive battles” Haneyya stated.
“The Palestinian people abroad are standing up again raising the banner and flag and renewing their ties with the Palestinian cause although the enemy and its allies thought that the years of their asylum would make them forget their cause” he said.
“We are making our preparations to make the big leap against this enemy and bring this historical conflict to a halt (in our favor)” the Hamas leader stressed pointing out that what he said was not an emotional or wishful analysis but a reality the Palestinian people live.
