Ismail Haneyya the Hamas supreme leader on Wednesday discussed in a phone call with Dr. Saad al-Din al-Othmani the Moroccan prime minister the dangerous developments in Jerusalem and the Gaza Strip.
Haneyya briefed the Moroccan premier on the Israeli occupation’s attempt to displace Palestinian citizens from the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in Jerusalem the attempts to control the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the repeated incursions into the holy Islamic site.
He explained the situation in the Gaza Strip the occupation’s crimes against women and children and the demolition of homes and government centers following the resistance’s fulfillment of its duty to defend Jerusalem and the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The Hamas leader stressed the need for an Arab Islamic and international stand against the occupation’s practices and plans in Jerusalem and its crimes in the Strip to force it to stop the attacks on the Strip and to thwart its displacement policies in Jerusalem.
