Political bureau chairman of Hamas Ismail Haneyya hailed Hamas leader Hassan Youssef who has just been released from an Israeli jail.
Speaking to Youssef by phone Haneyya extended his wishes for a happy Eid to him and his family.
Youssef was released on Thursday evening from Israeli jails where he had served a 22-month administrative term with neither charge nor trial.
