Head of Hamas’s Political Bureau Ismail Haneyya held Israeli occupation authorities responsible for the assassination attempt against head of its security forces Major General Tawfik Abu Naim.
During a visit he paid to Abu Naim at hospital Haneyya congratulated the Palestinians for the failure of the assassination attempt and said that the attack will not make Hamas give up adherence to resistance and rights of the Palestinian people.
Haneyya affirmed that his Movement will go on the moves of achieving national reconciliation and putting an end to the internal division. He called on Fatah Movement and Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas to accelerate the implementation process of the Palestinian reconciliation.
The Hamas leader asked Prime Minister Rami al-Hamdallah to exert every effort in order to bring to account those who are involved in the assassination attempt.
