A delegation from the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas led by the head of the movement’s political bureau Ismail Haneyya arrived on Tuesday in Kuala Lumpur to meet with Malaysian officials.
Hamas said in an official statement that the visit is part of political efforts made by the movement to mobilize all forms of support for the Palestinian people and to confront the challenges facing the Palestinian cause.
Haneyya and other Hamas officials have been for months on a regional tour that included visits and meetings in Egypt Turkey Oman Qatar and Iran.
The meetings were focused on bilateral relations as well as the latest developments in the Palestinian cause especially those related to Jerusalem settlement Gaza siege refugees and elections.
