Hanini: Hamas will not be weakened by Israeli arrests

Wednesday 8-June-2022

Senior Hamas official Abdul-Hakim Hanini has affirmed that the Israeli occupation’s persecution and detention of Hamas leaders and cadres will never break the Movement or intimidate the Palestinian people.

In press remarks on Wednesday Hanini accused the occupation state of using a systematic policy aimed at striking at the Movement’s leadership level in the West Bank and Jerusalem in an attempt to neutralize its influential figures and keep them away from the Palestinian arena.

He said that the occupation state resorted to such behavior because of its suffering from persistent frustration and despair resulting from the blows dealt to it by the Palestinian youths and the resistance across the occupied territories.

The Hamas official expressed his belief that the Palestinian people would continue to resist the occupation with all means and would wrest their right to freedom and a decent life despite the ongoing Israeli suppression detention and aggression.

The Israeli occupation forces kidnaped on Wednesday senior Hamas official Ra’fat Nassif from his home in Tulkarem City. Two days ago Yasser al-Badrasawi another Hamas official was also kidnaped from his home in Nablus.
