The Roman Orthodox Archbishop of Sebastia in Jerusalem Atallah Hanna said on Sunday that the Christian churches condemn the provocative Israeli settlers’ flag march in Occupied Jerusalem.
Archbishop Hanna confirmed that the extremist Israeli settlers’ raids on the Al-Aqsa Mosque constitute a violation against each Palestinian labeling the flag march as provocative and aggressive.
“Palestinian Christians belong to Jerusalem and don’t accept the aggression against its citizens” the Archbishop said confirming that the Palestinian unity will foil the Israeli plans to change the status quo at the holy site.
Earlier on Sunday 2626 Jewish settlers raided the Al-Aqsa Mosque and provocatively performed Talmudic rituals in its courtyards in the morning and afternoon tours. Israeli police protected the settlers’ raids arresting and attacking Al-Aqsa worshippers who confronted the settlers.
