The Palestinian Prisoner Society (PPS) said that the health condition of prisoner Kamal Abu Waer who suffers from a cancerous tumor in his throat has deteriorated further.
In a statement on Wednesday PPS warned of the gravity of Abu Waer health condition holding the Israeli occupation authority fully responsible for his life and the lives of 700 patients in its jails including 10 suffering from different types of cancer.
According to PPS prisoner Abu Waer had already had 50 radiotherapy sessions and new recent tests he underwent proved that the tumor increased in size.
The prisoner also started to lose a lot of weight and became unable to verbally communicate with his fellow prisoners.
Despite his health suffering he is still exposed to maltreatment at the hands of Israeli jailers who insist on chaining him during treatment and transporting him aboard a prison vehicle instead of an ambulance when for instance transferring him to a medical facility.
Prisoner Waer 46 has been in jail since 2003 serving six life terms. He is being held in Gilboa prison.
