The Israeli occupation authority (IOA) announced plans to appropriate thousands of dunums of Palestinian land in Salfit governorate.
Sources in the municipalities of Qarawat Bani Hassan and Deir Istiya villages in Salfit said that the IOA plans to expand two nearby settlements and appropriating 8500 dunums for that purpose.
The confiscated lands are located in 18 areas of Deir Istiya and Qarawat Bani Hassan villages they added.
