Israeli occupation authorities (IOA) on Thursday re-arrested Palestinian detainee Issa al-Abbasi 34 shortly after his release from an Israeli jail.
Local sources said that the IOA re-detained al-Abbasi a resident of Silwan town in Jerusalem moments after he was released from Negev Prison.
A father of two al-Abbasi was arrested on 30 May 2010 and sentenced to 10 years in jail over charges of opening fire at Israeli settlers during a settler attack on Silwan.
The IOA later arrested his mother too and accused her of attempting to stab an Israeli settler.
