Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) on Sunday declared the areas that surround the Gaza Strip as a closed military zone with nobody allowed to access those areas at the pretext of conducting military drills according to Maariv Hebrew newspaper.
The IOF had recently escalated their military activities along the borderline with Gaza. Last Sunday IOF soldiers carried out military drills that lasted for five days along the Gaza border which separates Gaza from 1948 Occupied Palestine.
The spokesman of the Israeli army said that these maneuvers are part of the annual drills and have nothing to do with the latest events in the area.
