IOF arrests six brothers in connection with the issue of the slain soldier

Saturday 21-September-2013

QALQILIA (PIC)– Israeli occupation forces (IOF) arrested six bothers in Beit Amin village south of Qalqilia at dawn Saturday after imposing a curfew on it.

Local sources said that IOF soldiers surrounded and closed all entrances to the village and broke into many citizens’ homes.

They said that the soldiers withdrew from the village after rounding up the six bothers and destroying part of their homes and agricultural installations.

The Israeli army spokesman Avichai Aderi said that an Israeli soldier who went missing on Friday was found killed near Qalqilia.

Aderi said on his Facebook page that the army was investigating the incident.

A Hebrew press report claimed that a Palestinian from Beit Amin village had led the “soldier to a well north of the Palestinian town Sanriya near Qalqilyah” where he killed him and hid his body.

The report added “In the investigation the Palestinian suspect admitted that the motive … was to bring about the release of his brother … who has been incarcerated in Israel since 2003”.
