The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Sunday morning opened fire at Palestinian farmers and their lands and forced them to leave the area in the east of the besieged Gaza Strip.
According to local sources the IOF fired live ammunition and smoke grenades from watchtowers and military vehicles at farmers and swaths of cultivated land in the east of az-Zeitoun neighborhood in Gaza City.
Luckily no one was hurt but the intensity of the shooting forced farmers to stop working their lands and leave the area.
A similar shooting incident also happened in the border area in the east of Khan Yunis south of Gaza and forced farmers to leave their lands.
